The stable release of Version 4.1.1 is now available for download.
This release is a maintenence release which includes many bug fixes. Version 4.1 includes *many* new features including:

Many administrative changes
Search and replace option
Many of the changes included in version 4.1 were developed in partnership with students from
Neumont University.
19 July 2007- PhpGedView at 27th IAJGS International Conference on Jewish Genealogy
John Finlay and Meliza Amity gave a presentation about the PhpGedView to the IAJGS conference in Salt Lake City. They demonstrated PhpGedView and highlighted many of the Hebrew and Jewish features, many of which are unique to PGV.
16 March 2007- PhpGedView at 2007 Family History and Technology Conference
John Finlay and Chris Stolworthy gave a presentation about the Research Assistant module for PhpGedView
at the 2007 Family History and Technology Conference. For his part
in the presentation, Chris won a best student presentation award.
Hilton Campbell also had a demo setup on his Genesis Project which is a desktop tool built on the PhpGedView
web service API which will allow you to search across several PhpGedView sites at once. His demo won the

31 Dec 2005- PhpGedView 3.3.8 released
Version 3.3.8 is now available for
download. This is a maintanance release for v3.3.x which includes all of the patches to stop the SunTzu hacker. It also includes several minor bug fixes found in previous 3.3.x versions.
Among the new features in version 3.3.x are: enhanced online editing support, search across all of the gedcoms, improved name handling, automatic thumbnail creation, new Hourglass chart, and new alive in year list.
