We held our first planning meeting on 7/12/07. Check the mailing list archives for a summary. A second planning meeting will be held on 7/31/07 on 255 Capitol ST STE 103, Salem, OR 97310 at 5:30 PM. We are currently going through our contacts looking for both a home for meetings and presenters for the topics the mailing list expressed an interest in.
Description
Welcome to the Salem Java Users Group home page. We are currently gauging interest in a users group for the Salem, OR area and will soon be placing information about our listserv and other startup activities on this page so stay tuned. If you are interested in what we are trying to accomplish with this group you are invited to look at our draft governance documents in the documents and files area. The listserv will be a forum where we will discuss this document and solicit future support for the group. The listserv is now active and can be found here. We also have an interest survey located here.
