Project Help Wanted Ads
The help wanted section of java.net is both for developers looking for an interesting project to work on and for those involved in a java.net project who are looking for someone to fill a particular need. Listings are restricted to volunteer openings for non-commercial projects. If you are looking to post a paid job position or if you are looking for employment please visit our JobsWiki.
Project listings remain live for 30 days, or until closed by the project owner, whichever comes first. (Project owners may always re-post expired openings.) To suggest new job skill categories, submit a request to

To complete the project, we need help developing the part of the program that will take the processed text files and input the data ranges into charts and spreadsheets & spit them out as one whole report.

Refitting to j2ee current standards(jdk1.4,servlets2.0)
I have a fully working shopping cart created by me and wanted to upload/enhance it at java.net
It works fine with jdk 1.3 and tomcat 4.1, but not with newer versions. The same servlet/jsps do not work on the weblogic and Sun's app server. Can somebody help here and find bugs in the older code? As you can see many enthusiastic developers have joined BookWorMania and i believe together we can create a good easy-to-implement generic shopping cart.
I also need help with session timeout management using a listener. If somebody knows exactly how to do that please email me, or join the BookWorMania project and actively participate using the CVS mailing lists and all. You may use dev@bookwormania.dev.java.net .\\\\

Notebook: Testers/developers wanted
I am looking for developers and beta testers for my new project, Notebook. It is a small, fast note/todo/memo application. The program is fairly feature-complete, however testing and feedback are needed, as well as better help documentation. I have only about a year of Java experience, so any skill level welcome.
