This project is being started from scratch, but builds on many of the concepts in
the wizard project , with which I have considerable familiarity.
Description
Wizards are a well known pattern of interaction, yet there are no easily configured/extended wizards--they all require custom Swing code at a minimum.
At the same time, the displays used by a wizard are generally vertically composible from a limited set of configurable GUI elements.
The xwizard project is an implementation of a fully generic, XML-configurable and extensible wizard engine, where the XML is used to configure the displays, the steps and branches, and hooks to application-specific classes for branch decisions and validation.
