JSpreadsheet
JSpreadsheet is a swing component that can be added to any application to
provide spreadsheet like functionality.
Status
The existing code is based heavily on code from SharpTools spreadsheet, but
with the emphasis changed to creating a reusable swing component rather than a
complete spreadsheet application. The existing code in CVS is usable, but the
intention is to refactor the existing code over the next couple of months to add
the following improvements.
Cleaner separation between the GUI and the backend (spreadsheet)
Add extra GUI features, such as cell formats.
Currently cells can contain only Strings or floats. Operations can only
be preformed on floats. This could be extended to support other types, such
as int, BigDecimal, etc.
More suggestions (and especially help) is welcome.
Demo
Note : the demo is currently very crude and does not reflect all of the
functionality of the JSpreadsheet component.
