Summary Desktop Chinese-English lookup dictionary Categories None License GNU General Public License (GPL v. 2.0) Owner(s) sausheong Chinese English Dictionary CED is a Chinese-English lookup dictionary that has the following features: Lookup Chinese characters and phrases that are copied into the system clipboard Vocalize Chinese characters and phrases that are selected This is how it works: Run CED While you are browsing a Chinese web site or reading a Chinese document on your PC, you see characters or phrases you are unfamiliar with You select and copy the characters or the phrase (which gets transferred to the system clipboard) You switch to CED and find the characters and similiar characters displayed in a table, with the traditional or simplified scripts, the Hanyu Pinyin notation and a simple description of the characters You select the character or phrase you want to to vocalize and click on the say button and you hear the Mandarin pronounciation vocalized Version The current version is CED 0.1 Downloads You can download the following binaries from here: Windows executable installer compressed JAR file(unzip and execute ced.jar) Links See https://blog.saush.com for more information about the dictionary.
