Welcome, to the nbutils project. This project offers a variety of netbeans modules.

Mission Statement

This project gives developers, and users a communication platform for the netbeans modules, offered within this project.

This project is the "home" for the netbeans module of this project.

Background

The netbeans modules of this project were developed en passe. First they were published via nbextras.org. The binaries and sources of the modules were published on the homepage site.

As the number of modules have grown the space on the homepage site was to small to host the nbm binaries, and the nbm source zips. Moreover hosting on nbextras.org might stop in the future.

Thus the nbm binaraies modules are published via Netbean's Plugin Catalog. The sources were moved into the SVN repository of this project.

The decision of creating these modules were simply. I (berni) had a need in my daily java developing projects. Thus I took some extra time to create these modules.

Netbeans Modules

This project offers several netbeans modules:

nb-gzip	Allows you to gzip, and ungzip a file in the Netbeans explorer tab.	About
nb-happyclass	Checks the availability of class, and resource within your current Netbean's project.
nb-jaranalyzer	Integrates jar analyzer application, displaying the classes bundled in one or more jar files.	About
nb-jdepend	Integrates jdepend application, displaying the package dependencies of your project.	About
nb-pmd-rulesets	Supports you in writing PMD ruleset files.
nb-wordcount	Counts chars, words, lines, blank line, and statement lines within you project.	About
PolicySupport	Offers syntax highlightning of java policy files.	About
randomPassword-nb	Displays a random password
templates	Offers template files - overview, package, and css - for writing javadoc
timezone	Displays a date in various timezones.
