Description
XEOM attempts to simplify the event processing of XML by passing event objects to a single method interface rather than having a multi-method interface receive a separate method call for each type of XML event received.
By using event objects, developers may also queue the processing of events and form lightly connected trees of events to enhance processing.
Another advantage of encapsulating XML events in objects is that character verification can occur when generating XML events in code even when an XML parser is not employed. This ensures that all generated events represent valid XML entities.
