Sending thoughts and prayers your way.
You are in Poland now, yes? I think you are :-))
I am Polish, I recognize Plac Zamkowy in the last pic.
You should go to Krakow one weekend and I have many more places to recommend :-). ]]>

We too like to visit churches on our travels, even though we are not religious people either. If nothing else, they make for great photo backdrops. Your photos are beautiful.
Thinking of you both and Malina, two years on from when you said hello and goodbye all on the same day.

Good to hear from you. I’m sorry that you and K have had such a difficult time of things and that it crushed your confidence. It is a little . . unrelenting. Grief and parenting. Neither of them generally give you sufficient time to fill your lungs completely before something else comes hurtling right at your head.
It is a strange feeling. I often think of my own little gossamer being. I wonder what she makes of us, I hope she knows that we don’t forget her.
Thinking of you, D and K and remembering Malina as her day approaches. ]]>

So nice to see you back. Welcome back to this space. I have been thinking about you, knowing Malina’s day was coming up. Two years. Fuck. What do we do with ourselves this year?
Your introduction to (live baby) parenting sounds so similar to mine. I was crushed all over again when it turned out to be a whole lot harder than I could ever possibly have imagined. And when all I’d done was dream of breastfeeding a baby for months on end and it went so pear-shaped at the start, I too lost any confidence I might have had.
Thankfully now, like you, things are going very smoothly in that department. And I too have a smiley infant with mashed avocado all over his face – this very moment!
Love to you all. ]]>
