Huamin Wang is the chief scientist at Style3D. His research focuses on high-performance, high-fidelity physics-based simulation — powered by GPUs and enhanced by generative AI — with broad applications in computer graphics, vision, and machine learning.
Previously, he is a tenured associate professor in the CSE department at the Ohio State University (2011–2022) and a postdoc researcher at UC Berkeley (2009–2011).
He has chaired the technical programs of CASA 2017 and SCA 2023 and currently serves as assistant chair of the technical papers program for SIGGRAPH Asia 2026. He is also an associate editor for IEEE TVCG and the Visual Computer.
He is an ACM distinguished member (2025) and an IEEE senior member.
