There is an option to import all your previous posts and comments from blogger to wordpress. It is easy too… let me know if you need any help with wordpress!
Thanks Mohan for offering help. I was able to import all my previous posts and comments but could not automatically redirect from blogger to wordpress url. Do you have any knowledge about automatic redirect?

Isn’t this for self hosted wordpress blog? I am on wordpress.com! I guess I have still understand this difference.
Oh, sorry, Here is a much simple and easy way to get that done.
All you need is go to your blogger layout page and the go to ‘Edit HTML’ . In that window check on the box that says ‘Expand Widget Templates’. Now in the bigger text input box put the below mentioned code right after tag:
