Bio

Hi, my name is Vincent Cartillier and I'm a PostDoc Researcher at GeorgiaTech in Dr. Judy Hoffman and Dr. Irfan Essa's lab.

My main research interest lies in 3D Computer Vision. I graduated from my PhD in 2023 where I have studied 3D computer vision techniques applied to the design of scene representations for Embodied AI. I have also worked with NeRF and published a NeRF-SLAM paper to the CVPR Neural Rendering Inteligence workshop. Currently I am interested in the intersection between 3D Vision and Diffusion models.
Outside of school, I like to play basketball and soccer. I have been playing basketball in competition for 10 years in France. In the last years I was playing at the JDA Dijon's team with which we won the vice champion title of the Burgundy league in 2010 (Yay!).
I also love music, I play the guitar in a new band now (latin rythms such as cuban and bolero types). Live performance coming soon !!
