Views of Detroit: $9.7 Million Grant Given to W Industries for Expansion
Maybe someone in the news industry ought to check out this company to see if nepotism really exists, seeing that they received all of this money. Isn't MEDC a state department that issues out government money? I don't know if it is or not, but an accusation such as nepotism should raise some eyebrows. Anonymous, I don't know how far this will go as far as someone reading this, but I posted your comment.

Free Health Screenings for Women - check it out!
Women's Health symposium scheduled for Aug. 15, 2009 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., at Wayne State University, Community Arts Auditorium and Student Center, 450 Reuther Mall, Detroit, MI. Attendance is free to all women and teens who are accompanied by an adult.
The BET Foundation (BETF), General Mills, Inc., Honey Nut Cheerios Brand, the Detroit Department of Health & Wellness Promotion, Wayne State University and a host of Detroit community organizations will be hosting this event.
