“Cris met us on our first morning in Bucharest and she took us to some of the landmarks of old Bucharest where my grandmother came from. We visited the old synagogues, etc. and we even tried to go into the cemetery where my great-grandfather is buried. She arranged for us to visit there the following day once they cleared a path through the overgrown brush, etc. Cris is your ticket to Bucharest…. enjoy!”Steve, USA |

“Our 5 days in Romania was the best part of our 5 week European journey. We learned so much, saw more than we can believe and had experiences that would never have happened otherwise. Her itineraries are creative and she is always open to the odd thing that inevitably presents itself and this helps to build a very personalized experience.” Nancy and Susan, USA |

“Her knowledge of Romania, both current and historical, is impressive, and her love for her country and its people is very evident. Thanks to Cris we were able to sample local food and enjoyed the freshest cheese I’ve ever tasted from a roadside stand. We can’t thank her enough for the insider look we got thanks to her knowledge, enthusiasm and expertise as a tour guide!”Christine & John, USA |

| “Cris knows her stuff. Tell her what you’re interested in and she’ll do her best to make sure you have that experience or see that sight. I had a layover in Bucharest and wanted to see some of the city while I was there. She picked me up at the airport, we did a tour of the city, and she delivered me back to the airport. Great tour. She has a passion for the city and the country and it shows throughout the tour. Ask her about the lemonade! Thanks, Cris. lol” Alice B., USA |

“Cris was wonderful for our company walking tour and wine tasting event. She organized a historical walk through Old Town Bucharest and was able to adapt to the needs / wants of our group when they wanted to see things slightly off the plan (thanks, Cris!). Cris also knows her history of Bucharest and is able to take questions and adapt her talking points to the interests of the group. The wine tasting was also wonderful – she picked out a place called Corks in Old Town and the event had fruit and cheese platters and 6 different Romanian wines for us to taste. It was very professional, well-organized, informative, and fun.”Stephanie S., USA |

| I felt in a day we covered a lot and everything ran so smoothly. We all truly appreciated her personal insights into the Romanian Revolution of 1989 and were most moved by her recollections. At the end of the day, she felt like a sister to us. Louise H., UK |

I feel very fortunate to have spent a week in Romania with Cristina as my guide and driver. I felt safe and I was delighted to experience the country she holds such passion for. We spent four days in Transylvania and the Carpathian mountains. I thoroughly enjoyed the day we took the cable car on Fagaras to reach Balea lac. We walked on the frozen lake and visited the ice hotel.Suzie B., USA |

| She has something that makes the difference between the cold facts, which can often be dull and lifeless, she has the ability to communicate her enthusiasm for the subject and to make it come alive (…) Her qualities as a guide are superb, she is genuinely a person that cares that the information is understood and would answer any question asked. Gerard, Irlanda |

Despite having read about the history of Romania, getting insights from Cristina gives you a real feel of the past, present and future. I learned so much from her through our great conversations. Above all, she is a genuine person and she can make you feel very strong emotions about her country by sharing her love for Romania with you.Anjulee, Mauritius |

| Cris arrived on time and in an immaculately clean car. We saw everything on the itinerary and more. When I asked to see something additional at the last minute, Cris made it happen. She is very knowledgeable about Jewish Bucharest and introduced me to the wickedly sinful pretzel snack called ‘covrigi’. She also took me to an excellent source of Romanian souvenirs that was priced very reasonably. Multumesc pentru tot! Judyth, Egypt |

| A big thank you to Cristina, who took us on a tour of Bucharest last Saturday. The tour was conducted in a professional manner and was well-structured. (…) Her answers were always thoughtful and clear. (…) She spoke frequently of her personal experiences, i.e. her family and her upbringing in Bucharest and in the countryside, and also of her impressions of the dramatic 1989 revolution and its immediate aftermath. (…) We enjoyed the day immensely. Given the fine, sunny weather of mid-October, we were lucky to see the best side of the city and have retained some very fond memories. Paul, East Anglia |

| I spent two days touring Bucharest with Cristina and cannot express how much I learned from her about Romanian history and culture. But, more than that, Cristina gave me the gift of authentic cultural exchange. She is passionate and personal while being enormously professional. It is with great enthusiasm that I recommend her tours! K K, Pennsylvania, USA |

Christina is wonderful proud and paints the culture and history of her country almost cinematically.Cristina is always on time and is very patient and makes for a walking encyclopedia of her city. Her particular interest on the roots of her people, of whom she’s very proud, is what I found most inspiring. I indeed never felt unsafe or out of place in Bucharest, thanks to Cristina! We spent two days peeling through the layers of history, pointing at buildings and monuments, reciting interesting anecdotes and stories. It seemed to me she really cared that I not only touch on the essential sites and take the pictures that I wanted to take but that I come away from the tour understanding Romania and the Romanian people better; that I could then look at Bucharest alone and understand and appreciate it with new, more knowledgeable, eyes. Highly recommended.Fayruz A., London, UK |

| I booked a tour with Cristina yesterday and it was fantastic. She took me around the city to a lot of art déco buildings and in the meantime explained the background about the architectural style comparing it to other styles to be found in Bucharest, such as the romanian style. I got a very good understanding on the background and development of art déco in Bucharest and could ask many questions including those about daily life in Romania in past times and nowadays. Together we discovered the interior of some of the buildings and admired the architectural details on staircases and foyers of the buildings. Thanks a lot and hope to see you soon again here in Bucharest, Cristina! Susann Porzig, Hamburg, Germany |
