About
Erin McNellis earned her Ph.D. in English from the University of California, Irvine, in September 2011. She enjoys 20th (and 21st) century poetry, gender theory, cognitive poetics, and whiskey.
She is currently writing a poetry project online called The Blank Caught Fire. Some of these poems have recently been collected into a chapbook available from Horse Less Press.
She updates this blog extremely sporadically, so she suggests that you subscribe to its RSS feed.

As do I, all except the whiskey that is. Enjoyed your post on Annie Dillard. Marquez, HD, and Dillard are also some of my faves.

and what’s your favorite dram?
Comment by mak— April 4, 2008 #
Presently, my favorite Scotch is Talisker 10 and my favorite bourbon is Buffalo Trace.
Comment by uncomplicatedly— April 5, 2008 #
Hmm, I’d rather go for Bowmore 21, but Talisker is also a very nice choice; a very nice choice indeed…
Comment by mak— April 6, 2008 #
Talisker 10 at Irvine? Can hardly wait.
