I am an ML research engineer at Apple. Before that I was a senior staff researcher at VMware Research. Lately I’m mostly interested in algorithms for statistical data analysis. In the last couple of years I’ve focused on anomaly detection and fairness in classification. I’m always working in the areas of  Data Structures,  Randomized Algorithms, Scheduling and Load Balancing. On the latter topic I wrote a survey. I graduated from the Weizmann Institute of Science in 2005, where I was advised by Moni Naor. For my M.Sc. I was advised by Uri Feige. I joined MSR Silicon Valley in 2005 as a researcher, and was there until September 2014 when the lab was closed.
