I’m Carina. I’m a follower and servant of Jesus Christ. I’m 17 at the moment. I’m a senior in high school. I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I’m a third-culture kid. I play the piano. I love to write. I love to read more, though. I listen to acoustic rock and piano and worship, mostly. I love C.S. Lewis. And Thomas á Kempis wrote one of my favorite quotes. Harper Lee wrote another one. I can bake yummy things but I can’t cook very well. I love it when the temperature drops below 70 and the sun shines. My favorite colors are yellow and orange and white. My favorite subject in school is Senior English, but any class taught by Miss Rinehold or Mr. Johnson or Mr. Quarantotto holds a close second. I am bad at math (at least, I don’t enjoy it). I play tennis and soccer, but if Canasta and Euchre were sports, I’d list them instead. I love my family. I have four younger siblings and a dog named Chasy. I want to have no regrets when I die. I want to live like any day could be my last.

What does this mean; you are a sold-out Christian?

Well, it means that I’ve handed my life over completely to Jesus Christ and I’m living for him. I say “sold-out” because no one and nothing else will have my devotion as completely as him. Kudos to the Christian thing… my boyfriend was “saved” (he hates saying it that way) and I am trying really hard (not that I am a bad person but I still haven’t felt that touch yet people talk about… almost like you know). oh and I LOVE C.S. Lewis. Aslan rocks! Oh and ditto on the cooking thing… love to bake, hate to cook.
