About Good Times

Good Times was designed to be a companion to my blog Journey to Somewhere. The project officially started on November 1st, 2006. I live in Argentina and it was spring when I began the blog. I felt like it was a good time to start a new habit and try something new. Hope you are enjoying the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!

UPDATE (June 15, 2007) Good Times used to be the home for pictures from my photo-a-day project. I planned to keep that up for a year, but wasn’t able to for many different reasons. That’s all behind me now, and I need a place to write about my photos again! As of today, Good Times is back online. I’ll be posting photos that I like and want to talk about and/or showcase. It was great to get out my camera every day and find something to photograph in a new or creative way, but I feel that, overall, my photography suffered from the shots that came when I took a picture of something, just to have the picture for the day. I’d rather talk about photos that I took because I wanted to. I hope you enjoy the new face of Good Times. The photos from the project are still available, but I want this day to serve as a break between photography because I feel like I have to, and photos I take because I want to.

UPDATE (August 4, 2007) Since I’m using Good Times for blogging my photos in general, instead of just for a specific project, I thought, “Hey, why not use it for blogging all your ideas about photography in general too?” So that’s exactly what I’m going to do. Expect to see some tips, better photos than mine, and thoughts about photography, especially digital photography and the online photographic community.
