Ted Pellegatta
and the arts he pursues.
Under Construction
Photography
The magnificence of Ted’s photography has been attested by very many sources. What few know is that Ted is color blind. Evidently his perception of shades of gray is enhanced by this condition and has produced his rare color photos. A few of these are on display at Headmasters in Sperryville, VA, through the big doors under the SHOP sign.
Poetry
We have presented Ted’s poetry at a number of venues where Ted shares his work articulately and with feeling. We have also recorded Ted reading his work with background mandolin accompaniment.
It may be important to note that Ted’s writings are perhaps best described as poetic short stories.
Found Art / Assemblage
A non-stoppable creator of art, Ted has most recently developed a merging of found wood and stone. He mounts lovely pieces of found wood onto stone bases. Some are so engaging all around that he sets them onto tiny lazy-susan hardware so they can be rotated. The pieces are engaging and captivating.
The Listening Room
A newer development is the use of Ted’s Headmasters Shop for small listening engagements. Music, Poetry, Stories, and other performances are being lined up for prepaid groups of up to 20 listeners who want to listen to and engage with such offerings without interruptions. These may occur more than once per month and may have varying prices.
