Keeley & Rebecca
I’m proud of my students. Rebecca Raede just turned 14 and she’s working hard on the USDF Junior Tests. She campaigns the lively Elmegardens Ziam and she trained her own mare, Ribbons n’ Curls, from first level to Prix St. George. Keeley Mircetic is busy getting a degree in physical therapy while helping me with my young horse, Amaretta. She’s doing a great job. Keeley successfully competed her thoroughbred, Samson (aka Miner’s Dream), in eventing.
Gustavo rides western on Valente and Recheio. Past students are coming back. Jacob Gran moved for a year to Reno, Nevada when his dad moved for business. This summer Jacob will be back with his new Dutch Warmblood named G-Zoo. Between finishing school and starting college, Kate Murray will be riding and preparing for to join the Equestrian Team at her new college in New York. Lisa Sidwell is living in England now. She continues to compete on her stallion, Sinclair.
Welcome new students: A mother and daughter team, Dorriah and Dennesey Rogers love to ride Ribbons n’ Curls. Dorriah was an event rider earlier in her life and she is returning to riding after years away. Seven-year-old Dennesey especially likes to canter.

Lauren Burke is learning fast! I am SO SUPRISED that she is learning so fast! She is avery lucky girl to have such a fancy pony. And to be riding Dressage and English!
Tom is a really excellent instructor/trainer. He was my first dressage instructor beginning back in 1974 at Canoga Training Center in Canoga Park, CA, where we both worked: he as head trainer, me as a working student, graduated to assistant trainer. I learned alot from Tom about the psychology of teaching/training horses, and that it wasn’t about gimmicks in tack and equipment, but about understanding how their minds work in relation to interacting with humans.
I haven’t spoken with Tom in probably 20 years because I moved from the area, but anyone who is lucky enough to be training with him is in for a lot of success, and also understanding horses and how their minds work.
