So, I found myself at Empire Farm Days, the area’s largest ag trade show/fair, and it was friggen HUGE and AMAZING. So much crazy equipment! I wish I had more time to wander and explore, but alas, I was on popcorn duty at the Cornell HQ.

So a few weeks (month?) ago, we took a weekend trip to the Thousand Islands region of Upstate NY and visited Boldt Castle, a quaint castle on it own island. Most of it has been lovingly restored, but of course I much preferred the top floor, which was in a state of complete squalor, and the spooky basement. YES!
