Hello! I work in media relations. Before that, I was a writer at The Tennessean, the Orlando Sentinel, and the Lexington Herald-Leader. I wrote a book called The Stories of Jenny Wiley. It’s about the history and legends surrounding my 5th great-grandaunt, who was taken captive by Native Americans on the Virginia frontier in 1789. There’s a state park in Kentucky named after her. I also wrote a book with my dad called Pretty Babies Grow Up Ugly, a collection of old-time beliefs and superstitions from the Southern Appalachians. Both books are available on Amazon and in the Kindle Store and make thoughtful gifts.
