All About Me
Tipp is the name my aunt gave me when I was very little. It just stuck. My family still calls me that – I like it, I own it.
I am a twenty-something young woman just trying to find her way in this big world. By day I frequent the big city and by night I return to my house on the hill in a small town. This is my defintion of paradise. I am happiest when I am at home with my hubby and two dog children. In my former life I have been a professional nanny, a teacher, and an Early Interventionist to children with special needs. Now I am back to the root of my passion, serving in my church and still working with children. For this PK (Preacher’s Kid), who married a PK, this will always be our most important work.
I am complex yet simple, social yet so withdrawn, a dreamer but someone who can’t see past the worries of reality. I love my dogs, they are better to me than some friends, if you don’t understand that, you don’t have a dog, or at least not a good one.
My hubby is so patient. He is the love of my life, the one I can trust, the friend who will never leave nor disappoint me. I think love is simple, but only because he makes it seem so easy. No questions, no concerns, just security. We meet and fell in love in college and just celebrated our fifth anniversary. Despite a rocky beginning to our marriage due to a war and a very long deployment, we are happy and in love and cherishing the years together. No kids yet, hopefully soon and in God’s time, He will provide for our desire to have children.
I am so blessed. Speaking of blessed, my God has always been there for me, even though I have not always been there to listen. Learning to find God is amazing.
I have wonderful, lovely friends who keep me busy. Most days I don’t want to be busy but I am so glad they make me go and do. I want to go and do, I am just not a goer or a doer, but it is something I am striving to be. I am constantly changing. My mind, my hair, my hopes, my dreams. Keep checking back, I change often.
