Scholarships
I promised I wouldn't give names or too much information. My daughter says I will jinx it if I do. She is applying for a scholarship to attend a sort of summer school for voice. She is very talented. Can I say that? Will that jinx it?

It's OBAMA
No chance the GOP will be able to interfere when Obama's lead is 52% to 47%. I think we have Dean to thank for this. Great strategy. And we have Obama's team to thank for this. Great Discipline and Message.

Bad Times are Coming.
If you have a community, start a CO-OP, today.
Food is going through the roof, and not everyone can garden. Some people are totally dependent on grocery stores.
If there is a Sam's or a Costco in your area, get together with your neighbors, and buy in BULK. Then split up the goods amongst yourselves.
Start saving glass and plastic jars that have lids. They are perfect for cooking oils, and dry goods, that both come in bulk and can easily be divided.
We are in for another depression. The time to prepare is now.

An Odd Christmas
This is such a terrible pun, I groaned. And then I couldn't stop laughing.

About Me
- Earlene
- I am a happily married mother of 2. My husband and I tried to conceive for 4 years, and when that wasn't working we adopted. Both of our children were in the foster system, and thanks go to the women who allowed us to adopt them fully. We know what courage it took to give them up. And we are grateful.
