Learner Information
We offer a range of tutoring options to suit your needs. All of our services are available to our learners depending on their literacy levels and their stated needs and goals.
Please take a look at our learner schedule for our weekly class offerings and sign up to become a learner today!
Drop-in Tutoring
This occurs at our Center where we have computers and a wide range of literacy materials available. Volunteers staff this program so learners can receive immediate literacy support in any area requested. Please contact the office for drop-in tutoring (928)556-0313.
One-to-One Tutoring
TLC matches volunteers with learners who have specific educational goals that are best achieved through a personalized program of study. Learners and tutors meet at TLC or at other community locations. Short or long-term tutor matches are available on a case-by-case basis. Tutors are flexible and work around your schedule. Give us a call to find your match.
Center Classes
Classes at TLC cover a variety of topics including Reading, Writing, Speaking, Pronunciation, Pre-GED Topics (Reading, Writing, and Math), Computer Basics, English as a Second Language, and Citizenship.
Learner Class Schedule
The Literacy Center is currently open, there are classes being offered on site, online, and at FUSD sites. All classes for the time being are led by a volunteer tutor on Zoom or in person. Email program@thinkliteracy.org for more info! Learners may attend as many classes as desired.
