I’m an American journalist in France who’s working on a report for public radio in the US about the French attempt to criminalize the purchase of sexual services.
I’ve sent an e-mail trying to get someone from STRASS on the phone for an interview, but I haven’t heard back from anyone yet.
I believe you are associated with STRASS, and seem to be active in defending the rights of sex workers. Might you be available for a recorded interview by telephone today (Wednesday, 7 Dec.), that I could use as part of my report on this subject?

I’m a sex worker activist (long time), academic and radio documentary producer. I’m coming to UK and France in June to present an academic paper on sex workers, activism and radio. I’m also hoping to begin recoding some interviews for a radio documentary series on sex worker history -stories that go into some detail about actual events- in this case I want to kick off with the occupation of the church in Lyon. I’ve already co-produced a documentary on the history of HIV sex worker. You can listen online – just google Sharleen Spiteri and my name. Anyway I’ve tried emailing STRASS but no reply. Elena Jeffries from Scarlet said you might be able to assist me- I was already aware of your blog and some of your work.
Anyway if you can find the time to reply to me that would be great.
