I was going through my emails and checking followers I haven’t checked. It’s hundreds of emails back and I found this. I distinctly remember reading this reply from Iris (she or they most probably do not open this account anymore). But I just feel bad I didn’t say a thing, not even my condolences. To Iris and JJ’s family, however belatedly this message is, my condolences to you all. And sorry I didn’t say a thing…RIP, JJ.

My name is Iris. I was his girlfriend. The reason I am writing to you on James’ Blog is because I wanted to let all his bloggers know that he has passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2013. He has died of an pneumonia. His body was found in his apartment by his best friend Jay Valerio on Monday, December 23rd. He never mentioned to anyone that he was ill or feeling ill. It has been a devastation to me and all his love ones. He was my best friend and the greatest guy you could ever meet. I pray everyday that God has him in his Glory.

Hi Cristina,

Yeah James (I use to call him JJ) told me everything about his past and the tough life he had. He always talked about his brother Albertico and how much he missed him. He was a very depressed man and insecure man. He had an insecurity of being fat which he wasn’t fat at all. He would workout three times a day and always dieting. I was always getting upset with him because he would not eat and was obsessed with losing weight. He got really thin but that was not good enough. He had decided to go to Florida and get a tummy tuck which he kept it a secret from me until he got it done. He went to some doctor in Florida that he said he was friends with and he had the surgery. I couldn’t believe that a doctor would do such a surgery like that on a person who was so thin. On top of that, it was done in the doctor’s office. I was so angry at him for doing this. When he got back from Florida, he didn’t look so well. He looked even thinner and very pale. He said to me that he had a small infection where they did the incision but he never went to a doctor here in New Jersey to check it out. The week of Thanksgiving we got into an argument because he was still talking about losing weight and I couldn’t handle it anymore. I told him if he continued like this he was going to die. He didn’t listen to me. He continued and even went to the gym to workout a week after his surgery. I wasn’t speaking to him during this time but I would see him in the gym and he didn’t look to good. He looked very sick. The weekend before he died, I called him and said let’s talk and he didn’t want to talk. On that weekend on Saturday morning I saw him at the gym. On Saturday afternoon his friend dropped off his dog so JJ could babysit him for the weekend. On Saturday night his friend called him to see how his dog was doing but JJ did not answer his phone or answer any of his friend’s text. On Sunday his friend called again and no answer. On Monday, his friend showed up to his apartment and went inside saw his dog and went into JJ bedroom and found him dead on his bed. He was dead for two days and no one knew. I went into total shock. I called his sons and daughter and told them the news. He didn’t get a proper funeral and was laying in the morgue for about 10 days until he was cremated. His oldest daughter came and picked up the ashes. I don’t know what happen after that because I distance myself from his family. He always mentioned to me that he hated his mother and father. He had no relationship with his kids because of his ex-wife Mercy. He never got to see his youngest daughter Alexandra which is 7 years old because his 2nd ex-wife didn’t let him contact her. He lived a very depressed life. I pray everyday that God has him in his Glory. I miss his so much! I am so brokenhearted over this. My email is ramosiris66@gmail.com if you like to reach me.
