That Touch of Pit is a place to celebrate pit bull-like dogs while changing minds.
Jennifer has worked in animal welfare for almost 10 years and has come to adore the bully breed. Although she doesn’t have a blockhead pup right now – she shares her home with two scruffy terriers, a mature minpin and a sphynx who thinks he is a dog, but she is the pittie stalker at the dog park! Jennifer is the Program Manager at Bully Project in NYC. The group organizes free and fun training classes for bully breeds and their owners, in addition to rescuing, fostering and adopting out “pitbull” type dogs.
Josh is the Social Media Manager for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, one of the nation’s leading industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organizations. Along with their work in HIV/AIDS fundraising, BC/EFA also helps produce the annual dog and cat adoption event, Broadway Barks. His lifelong love of animals is what drove him to adopting his first dog, Lucy, which is when he met Jennifer. Since adopting Lucy, Josh has become a devoted pit bull advocate and foster parent.

Glad this blog is up and running! Good luck guys, it’s so fun! Josh- Knox will be coming up to meet Lucy one of these days soon. Can’t wait to read! Love from Baltimore.
