Exactly right. I have a daughter who is a pharmacist, so she is usually where I start my fact-checking when it comes to medically related stuff. The drugs in question ARE safe IF, and there’s the biggest word in the English language, IF they are administered as intended. People acquiring, stockpiling, and using drugs in a way not prescribed by a doctor is what leads to most bad outcomes which the media latches onto.

You have to remember that “similar” is not “the same” chemically. One atom off can be really bad.
