The true believers are those whose hearts tremble when GOD is mentioned, and when His revelations are recited to them, their faith is strengthened, and they trust in their Lord.They observe the Contact Prayers (Salat), and from our provisions to them, they give to charity.Such are the true believers. They attain high ranks at their Lord, as well as forgiveness and a generous provision.
The Spoils of War (Al-Anfaal) Ayaat; 2 – 4
These are ayaat that one reads many times, yet often only feels the reality of when listening to the recitation of the Quran by an exceptional reciter. And SubahAllah, wa Alhamdulillah we have the pleasure of the opportunity to comprehend the reality of these ayaat on a daily basis. Allah Azza’Wajal by his mercy guided us to live in a place close to the great Masjid Bilal in Nasr City, home to Shaikh Ridda.
Shaikh Ridda is the imam and exceptional khatib of the light in our Cairo lives, Masjid Bilal and ensures us, as members of his congregation an exceptional experience everyday. I feel I am only delaying you from partaking in the experience, so I say my last words in relation to this and say please click one of the links below and prepare yourself to hear the Quran as it should be heard. My last word would be please, make dua for this great Imaam and ask Allah to protect him and give him Istiqama in a place where talents such as his are rare. Now let me tell you something you really want to here, inshAllah we will be seeking to add to this ‘playlist’ for you at regular intervals, make dua Allah give us the Taufiq, and like I needed to say it, but, Watch This Space!

I have just come back to the UK from Cairo finalizing my stay there with salaat ul fajr behind shaykh ridaa…
Shaykh is very good masha-allah, good voice and variety. But its just different when your reading salaah behind him then listening to him over an MP3.
