My last post on this blog was exactly four thousand, two hundred fifty days OR 11 years, 7 months, 18 days ago.
What a difference a(n approximate) decade makes.
I’ve flirted with the idea of coming back here to resume sharing my thoughts and opinions, but never got around to it for one reason or another. After sitting at the desk in my office for what seems like hours, the spark to reopen and resume hit.
I may not be Hov, but allow me to reintroduce myself:
I’m a newly 38-year-old guy still living in the Mid-Atlantic who’s chugging along in that same career I received my college degree in way back when. Been single for a minute but oddly not bothered by it as much as I would’ve been back in my 20s. I’ve learned a lot, lost a lot, experienced a lot and I’ve laughed through it all.
While I’m not yet sure if I’ll go back to posting as much as I used to, I can ensure that whatever I post will be authentic and open. I guess its time to pull the dust covers off the furniture and open the windows to let in some sunlight and fresh air.
Welcome back to The Black Lounge.
