December included final exams, endless Christmas baking (YUM!!!), finding out i was still under target weight (Yay. Go elliptical), lots of R&R, celebrating Jesus' birthday, eating more Christmas baking, visiting friends and relatives, loving my husband more and more.
January included a trip to Whistler with friends, laziness, eating the last remnants of Christmas baking (sad), heading back to Edmonton for yet another semester of nursing school (boo-hiss), finding out eating all that Christmas baking paid off-- weight gain! belly popping out! (haha, this may have been in combination with being away from my elliptical for a whole month and being in my 7th month of pregnancy), having the in-laws visit for a week (this turned out much better than one might expect-- cooking, cleaning, and organizing all magically happened while i was at school everyday!), saying goodbye to my husband yet again because he insists on working 1200km away from me.
So, today i slept until noon, which was quite wonderful. JM left on Wednesday, but was kind enough to leave me a nasty cold to remember him by. Haha.
I signed up for a correspondence course in October because i was too sick last semester to take it with the rest of my class. I did the first assignment over Christmas break, but haven't touched it since. So today when i got up i decided that today was the day to complete assignment two-- and i did!!! YAY! Two down, one to go.
Today marks the start of my 32nd week of pregnancy. Two months to go!! (However, i think i'm still in the double digits for weeks left-- ultrasounds lie and doctors are sometimes mildly retarded. Unless, of course, by some divine intervention i managed to conceive while i had my period. But, alas, stranger things have happened).
So, rumor has it that i am incubating un petit garcon. I've had names picked out since eighth grade, but it still is nerve wracking trying to pick THE right one.
It's kind of fun being pregnant now that the horrific i-want-to-lay-down-and-die morning-afternoon-evening-and-all-night sickness has departed. Although it still makes me laugh sometimes when i try to roll over in my sleep and wake myself up from the effort. Haha.
Well, i'm off to find out what you kids have been up to these days... Ta-ta for now!
