Formalizing and Managing Evolution in MDE
The FAME project - Formalizing and Managing Evolution in Model-Driven Engineering - is a cooperative research project funded by the Vienna Science Fonds.
Hypothesis: The lightweight application of various suitable, theoretically founded formalisms improves the model management process.
Research Questions: For the justification of our research hypothesis, the following three research questions will be investigated.
(Q1) Conceptualizing the Notion of Change.
(Q2) Dealing with Consistency Violations and Redundancies caused by Model Evolution.
(Q3) Environing the Scope of Change Impacts.
FAME is realized by the Business Informatics Group (Vienna University of Technology), the Knowledge-Based Systems Group (Vienna University of Technology), and the Institute for Formal Models and Verification (Johannes Kepler University Linz).
