Iner and the swirl
1200 swirls bringing the grand total up to 7993
I now have 6139 swirls, with many more to come.
The grand total is now at 5964 with many more to come.
So it has been some time since I last made a swirl, but I am glad to say that new swirls are on the way. I met my goal of 5000, now I'm making it 10000. The good news is that I am already half way there. So now I give you 350 swirls, putting the new grand total at 5362 only 4638 to go.

Now that I have reached my 5000 swirl goal I can just sit back, relax, and try to figure out why I made these in the first place.
204 swirls and the dead fish
This now brings the grand total up to 4842
this is one of the better swirls. I think I'm in love.

It's really hard to believe that there are 268 swirls in this pile. They all fit into my hand.
Salvaged swirl day. There are 90 of these recovered gems. Remaking a swirl is often more work then making one from scratch. A lot of these were the survivors from the wicked fire of 2005
I think the total is now up to 1889
1010. yup. over a thousand swirls in this pile. I have nothing more to say on this subject.
500 wild and crazy swirls. bringing the grand total up to 1789 swirls
289 0f these bad boys. Most of the metal I use for these is really hard, so they don't make the full swirl, but they still get a mention.
333 swirls made today. to bring the grand total up to 1000.
As you can see some swirls are larger then others. I am currently just using up all the little bits of wire I find laying around the space ship.

I have also started messing around with the idea of mixing some swirls with some old paintings.
This, of coarse is a completely temporary work as I do enjoy dismantling the swirls after I have spent hours, some times even days organizing them into obsessive little patters.

The Return of the Swirl

Day seven
It is a little known fact that on day seven when God rested he liked to make swirls from copper. He said it was good for his wrists. I only made 374, it was a slow day.
We are now at 2263. It sure feels like a lot more.
