I live in the Bay Area and work as Sr Data Scientist. Previously, I worked as Quantitative Associate in New York City. Before that I was a PhD student in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Stony Brook University, USA. I finished integrated Masters degree (MS) in Physics from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. Based on my academic background, you can understand that my thinking is mainly influenced by theoretical sciences. Now I enjoy more data driven ideas mainly from Machine Learning and Deep Learning. I like to read/talk about physics, mathematics and philosophy of science. I am never active here, once in a while I enjoy writing about my funny experiences.
