Standup Comedy
Cheryl draws on her 13 years as a road comic. over 1000 performances, and her background in theatre and improvisation. The class focuses on material development and delivery.
Improv
Experience the transformative nature of group play. Cheryl draws on Viola Spolin’s theater game tradition, using techniques she learned working with Gary Austin (LA, Groundlings) and Michael Gellman (Chicago, Second City).
Cheryl King’s stand-up classes will resume in January 2026, and will be held on Jan 5, 12, 19 & 26, from 7:05 -9:35 pm at Keller Co-Work space in downtown Petaluma, 140 Keller Street.
