I am the John E. Savage Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Brown University where I lead the Interactive 3D Vision & Learning Lab (IVL). My research is in 3D computer vision and artificial intelligence. Specifically, I build foundational methods for 3D spatiotemporal (4D) visual understanding of the world including objects in it, humans in motion, and human-object interactions.
I am a recipient of an NSF CAREER award and a Google Research Scholar award. My research has been recognized with a Best Student Paper award at WACV 2025, and a Best Paper Honorable Mention award at Eurographics 2019.
Outside of Brown, I spend part of my time as an Amazon Scholar and a Visiting Faculty at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). I was previously a postdoc at Stanford University with Leonidas Guibas. I obtained my PhD at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics advised by Christian Theobalt and Antti Oulasvirta. I have also spent time at Microsoft Research Redmond, the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, the Honda Research Institute, and College of Engineering Guindy.
