At school my teachers told me that my handwriting looked like a spider had stepped in ink and crawled across the page.
Despite this unfortunate setback I have since had the pleasure of writing for some of the most beautifully produced publications in modern times, including The Idler and the second Dark Mountain anthology.
This blog is simply somewhere I can store my writing (published and unpublished) for safekeeping. If you want to use any of it, feel free – just remember to give me a nod (and if you make any money from it remember to give me a cut!).
As well as my handwriting looking like spider scrawl I also spend a lot of time where spiders crawl, out in the abandoned, neglected and wild spaces which are becoming all to rare in 21st Century England. I am presently planning my exit from civilisation.
