“Ah, to be back in junior high school! The loneliness, the angst, the debilitating shyness, the budding teenage romance…” I love this intro. The life of a teenager captured in one sentence!

Great interview! If Marc ever works it out, I’d love to know how to get to another dimension…though I’m not too keen on tentacles…

I really enjoy when an artist goes into detail with the preparation of their work. It enhances the experience of the work but also provides a whole new element in regards to making the work credible. But you know what I really, really love? When reading a great story then reading the background behind that story. This is the case with the tapirs and your novel. One great story. One great post regarding the background to that story!

Very interesting piece today. I enjoyed that yo ushowed the way research for your books spans many different areas. What I really liked is that you shared information that you personally enjoyed but couldn’t work into the book.
Also, this was a great interview to get into the mind of the characters. It’s nice to see them come alive on the page!
]]>Now you see there was method to my madness 🙂 I’m glad you and my other blog friends like the “behind-the-scenes” look. I had so much fun writing and researching this, and I guess it shows.
]]>I think you may find the part about the tapirs is almost… punchyish!
]]>Thanks, Jerry! I’m so excited that I can share what I’ve learned as well as my writing and researching process and that you find it interesting.
]]>Thank you for another good piece.
