If you are single or married, male or female, consider adoption.
I am Rod Smith, the writer of “You and Me” – a South African daily newspaper column with a readership larger than I ever anticipated. It is now also carried, apart from being on the web, by publications in the USA (Portland Leader) and by magazines (Personality, Femina). I have lost count of the local papers, school publications, and churches that have approached me to print columns in their respective publications.
I am also the single or, I prefer, “solo” dad of two boys, each of whom I adopted at his birth.
Here’s our story. I tell you in the hopes you will steer other singles, male and female (and “marrieds”) to the site who might consider adoption.

Three miracles, Thulani, Nate, and the Grand Canyon
I sincerely believe that more single persons (male and female) ought to consider adoption – and, to that end and through this website, I will play my part in assisting you to see that it is something most any reasonable, somewhat educated, reasonably sound-minded, single person can do.
