Hello, Bonjour, Ey’ Sweyel! I’m Stephanie Larson,
I acknowledge that I live work and play on the unceded traditional territory of the Stó:lō, Kwikwetlam, and Tsleil-Waututh Peoples. These Peoples have an intrinsic relationship with Turtle Island; therefore, I express my gratitude and respect for the honour of living and working in this territory.
“The best teachers are those who show you where to look, but don’t tell you what to see.”

Mission
To contribute to an inclusive Elementary education, by nurturing the minds of students with acceptance and compassion to become their best selves.
Rationale
I want to be an educator that accepts and is inclusive to all races, genders, sexualities and disabilities which is why the UN SDG5 Gender Equality resonated with me as everyone entering my classroom will be viewed as equal. My values align with the fact that all children have the right to a Quality Education (UN SDG4) and no child will be left behind in my future classroom. It is through these qualities that I will make a safe and inclusive space where my students can explore, be themselves and grow into their full potential.
