Nutzi Acontz. A romanian woman artist

Hi sisters!

The watercolor technique mixed with pencil touches allows the author to capture and represent a scene relatively quickly.

Lines and stains, in a game of transparencies (let’s observe the table at right side), alternate at the whim of the artist.

In this work in the style of German expressionism of the time.

The wasted corners

Hi sisters!

We can transform the routine vision of our home. Representing something of the space that surrounds us will reveal our intimate and subjective perception and will positively amaze us.

Maybe just gossip

Hi Sisters!

With decisive strokes, the artist captured the arrangement of the figures in the composition, as well as the balance of light and shadow.

Everyday scene

Hi folks!

In Art, the power of expression can overcome all logic. The left arm of the figure does not seem well resolved, but that detail does not detract anything from this wonderful work.

I would like to be inside that space

Hi folks!

The multicolored palette together with some almost geometric shapes place the works of this author, close to an explicit abstraction.

Joan Bankemper with a work

Hi folks !

Joan makes ceramic ‘artifacts’. Each pot was made of broken dishes and filled with medicinal plants. In one of her signature series, she only used discarded teacup handles and coffee mugs. Her new ceramic work utilizes high-fired handmade porcelain buttons attached to canvases, incorporating such so-called prosaic skills as sewing while also addressing the issue of how things get held together.

Below some works made by her.

Brooding about the life

Hi folks, this work has no title but I think the author (1917-1943) maybe had a hunch about her short life.
