The Twitter Follies

Number 2 Of A Series

Twitter was on the far side before Elon Musk bought it. He has taken it to a new level.

George Papadopoulos @GeorgePapa19

DEVELOPING: US military aircraft crashes in eastern Mediterranean Sea It’s happening. Brace yourselves

In case you don’t recognize the name, here is a refresher.

On October 5, 2017, Papadopoulos pleaded guilty to a felony charge of making false statements to FBI agents about the timing and the possible significance of his contacts in 2016 relating to U.S.–Russia relations and the Trump presidential campaign. In 2018, he served twelve days in federal prison, then was placed on a 12-month supervised release.

He was later pardoned by Donald Trump.

I am trying to determine how much George Papadopoulos posted, but the follow-up is what is interesting.

The US European Command released a press statement saying the incident was training related. “..we can definitively say that the aircraft sortie was purely related to training and there are no indications of hostile activity.” https://www.eucom.mil/article/42556/statement-us-military-aircraft-mishap-in-eastern-mediterranean

George Papadopoulos followed up by posting the following.

Veterans Day during the Biden regime.

As far as I can tell, a US military aircraft crashed in the eastern Mediterranean Sea, and some Trump cult members want to make moonshine out of it. The image above was posted by

If only The Uniparty Deep State didn’t rig the 2020 election… There would be world peace now.

That is supposed to make sense? Here are some additional comments.

Susanne Smith @Susanne_Smith1

Maybe the pilot was in drag and couldn’t see through his eyelashes

Thomas Paine Band @ThomasPaineBand

This is what happens when an election is stolen and the peace and prosperity President is removed in a coup, imo.

Cynthia M White @CynthiaMWhite1

I’m not really learned in military operations but why are they training over there? Shouldn’t that be done in friendly areas? Shouldn’t pilots already be trained if they’re in hostile territories?

I will be the first to agree there is stupidity on both sides of the National Divide, but I was hoping it would not taken to be a competition.

Pilot in drag? Are you kidding me? Get some help.

Stolen election? Somebody needs to get in touch with the real world.

And finally for Cynthia White, if you ever served in the military, or if any relative of yours ever served, or if you ever knew somebody who did not have bone spurs and did serve, then you might know that American troops are always in training. The Navy Sixth Fleet is stationed in the eastern Mediterranean, and trains on a daily basis. Maybe you should think about suiting up and serving with some of the rest of your countrymen.

So much for Titter Follies for now. There are many more where this came from, and I will post them as I find I can use them. Keep reading.

The Twitter Follies

Beginning A New Series

carview.php?tsp=

The history of Twitter dates back to 2006 or 2007, and it is an interesting story, which I will relate. Actually, I will not relate. Let’s dive right into the matter.

Twitter has long been a vehicle for the most bizarre of idle thinking and outright fabrication. Then Elon Musk bought it, and now it is a daily source of amusement for me. I subscribe to the swollen cadre of right wing sources because… because reading the truth is not that interesting.

I will post recent Twitter (now X) submissions and provide a few comments from the real world. Let’s start with this one.

Byron York @ByronYork
A nightmare scenario in which Trump wins and a Trump Justice Department and Republican prosecutors around the country target their political opponents for investigation and prosecution. Imagine that…

See the image above. Now see some of the comments.

Vince Langman @LangmanVince

I can’t imagine a politicized DOJ arresting their political enemies Imagine being this out of touch with reality

R T @RDog861

You mean just like the Dems have done.

This post was recent, and it is possible I should have let it cook some more. These Twitter posts, comical in themselves, are typically followed by a string of responses that put the original to shame.

In the meantime, here are some images from my collection.

If any Trump supporters want to call me out on any of these, then keep in mind: I have a slew more where these came from, and some are not pretty.

The Quintessence of Dumbshitia

Number 14 in a continuing thread

Getting ready to write up another of these, and I am saying, “Has it really been a year?” Yes, the previous post in this series had Herschel Walker boasting he would put his resumé against anybody’s. He did, and it showed, and he lost.

Now back to Twitter, or X as it is now known. I signed on a few years back, and it was fun to follow a bunch of the wacko’s who posted. Then Elon bought it, and things shook for a while. For example a few months back I got a notice my account was being permanently banned for violating their policies on spam, but I never could figure that out. Anyhow, mysteriously I am now able to respond to posts and to post stuff. Naturally I resumed my practice of trolling that random band of wackos. See above.

Here we have “brixwe” (some people do not use their real names) saying, “I hope she is in prison for this.” The headline is, “Indiana women Arrested for delivering 400 ballots with democrat candidate pre-marked!!! I mean , what could go wrong with this mail in ballot stuff???”

The guilty person is named Janet Reed, and I am thinking, “Really?” Is this real, or is this just some more BS posted by the wacko right? A bit of looking reveals the story.

Fact check: Woman in Indiana charged with modifying absentee ballot applications, not mail-in ballots

The claim: A woman in Indiana was arrested for delivering 400 ballots with Democratic candidates pre-marked

A case regarding a Democratic activist has recently resurfaced on social media in an attempt to provide evidence of voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election.

Several posts on Facebook claim an Indiana woman was recently arrested for allegedly delivering 400 mail-in ballots with Democratic candidates already filled out.

“Interesting to note that u will not see her on any MSM FakeNews report so let’s do our thing and make her famous,” reads a Dec. 5 Facebook post with over 2,300 shares, accompanied by an mugshot of Janet Reed, the alleged offender.

So brixwe is saying the Janet Reed delivered pre-marked ballots, when she actually sent pre-marked applications, not ballots. Janet Reed is obviously guilty of something, but brixwe is guilty of… What is the word for it? Oh, yes. She is guilty of lying.

While lying on Twitter is not an offense of any kind, including from an offense against morality on up to an offense against federal law, brixwe’s action is emblematic of people of her ilk. I am guessing brixwe is a Trump fan, and she is sorely offended that Trump lost the election three years ago, and her recourse is not to tell us about how much Trump did for her and for our country while he was president but to cook up stuff about the victors and how the victors stole the election.

Over the past months my collection of Twitter posts has grown considerably, so expect to see a bunch of these posts in the future. This is the Quintessence of Dumbshitia.
