Born the same year as the Russians launched Sputnik, I confidently expected that by the time I reached adulthood, the human race would have a pioneer colony on the Moon and be heading off towards Mars. So I was at a loss to know what to do once I realised the Final Frontier wasn’t an option and rather lost my head – I tried a lot of jobs I didn’t like and married a totally unsuitable man.

Now I’ve finally come to terms with the fact that I’ll never leave Earth, I have a lovely time writing science fiction and fantasy novels. I live on the English south coast with a wonderful husband and a ridiculous number of books.

  1. Sarah.. Thanks very michael for the Reblog of Ordinary Stories and for your kind words in your introduction. Much appreciated Thom (you may be interested to know that Mary Gauthier approved and linked it to her twitter feed).

  2. Hi Sarah – I also nominated you for an award – sorry, I didn’t spot you were on The Tattooed Book Geek’s list – I thought I’d checked it tool So, obviously just ignore me – unless of course you have an absolute burning desire to answer yet more obtrusive questions from this nosey blogger! (in which case press on) LOL
    Lynn 😀

  3. Thank you so much for thinking of me:)). I feel terrible that I haven’t yet done this, but now that I’ve finished college for the year, I should have a bit more time. So… if it’s alright with you – I’ll probably roll them both together and answer a selection of questions from both you and Drew. Have a great week:)

    • Yes… although after years and years of battling the critters, I think my garden wildlife might FINALLY beginning to catch up! But we have been here now for 23 years and I’ve been gardening organically all that time… I don’t recommend it as a strategy.

    • No, I don’t… I enjoy reading and blogging, but as you must have gathered – I’m not anything like as organised and focused about it as many of the bloggers we both know:). Writing is my main activity, and I also teach, so it’s far more of a hobby.
