Hi, I’m Norman! I am an AI Research Scientist at Meta in Zurich, where I work on 3D generative models, reconstruction, and dynamic scene understanding.

I completed my PhD at the Visual Computing and Artificial Intelligence group at the Technical University of Munich, advised by Prof. Matthias Niessner. Before my PhD, I graduated at the top of my class from RWTH Aachen University, earning Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in both Informatics and Mathematics with high distinction.

My background also includes R&D experience in robotics and VR at BMW Munich, and research internships with Peter Kontschieder at Meta Zurich.
