About Me
I am a machine learning researcher at Apple Machine Learning Research, and an adjunct professor at UT Austin. I was previously a tenured Associate Professor of Statistics at the University of Texas at Austin, in the Department of Statistics and Data Science. I obtained my PhD from the Computational and Biological Learning group at the University of Cambridge, and spent two years as a post doc in the SAILING laboratory at Carnegie Mellon University.
My research interests span several areas in Machine Learning and Statistics, including Bayesian deep learning, scalable inference methods, network analysis, and Bayesian nonparametrics.
