Basically, it’s a physics joke.
I may explain more properly if anyone asks (there doesn’t seem to be any point otherwise, given I don’t expect to be talking to anyone except myself)

Musings of a university dropout fighting with her own brain.
A (no longer intercalating) science student with recurrent depression, trying to make sense of her life.
I am interested.
So I read the link and gathered that simple harmonic motion is basically the motion that results from an object that moves in the opposite way of the force that acts on it, until because of that force the equilibrium shifts and then it moves in the opposite direction it was moving, but now the force is also going opposite to this direction. And there’s nothing that controls or stops it.
I think I made the world of physics even more confusing…
I think this graphic says more than 1000 words
Err.. this graphic
I saw ‘physics joke’ and my heart rate tripled. No, not in excitement (surprised? 😛 ) but in TERROR.
Physics has been known to reduce me to tears.
But then again, so has a territorial argument over a biscuit. So I guess it’s a case of draw your own conclusions…
