The second sentence is so wonderfully Austenian. It says so much about you in so few words.

Quality blog Si. I think perhaps mine is a little spicy for the gentle readers of your one though, too many effings and blindings!
I’m trying to get the hosting sorted out and it might move so if you try to pay a vist and it’s not there, it’ll be back!
Best to Paola and the wee ones!

I write and publish the Opinionated About Dining Survey. https://www.opinionatedaboutdining.com. I would like to use your beautful photo of the Veal and Mushrooms at Hof Van Cleve for a slideshow I am putting together for the Top 100 European restaurants for 2012. The slideshow is being published on June 4. You will get credit and a link to your blog on the frame, and a second credit and link at the end of the slideshow. If this is a problem, please let me know and I will use a different photo. Thanks.

Hi Simon!
I just came across your blog while searching for food blogs in Brussels and I really love it! Your posts about your trip to Spain with your wife sounds like you guys had a great time and discovered some delicious restaurants! I also consider myself to be quite the foodie and I think you would love this new company, bookalokal, that has just started a few months ago in Brussels. It is a food-networking platform where locals and travelers can enjoy a local eating experience while meeting new people who share their love for food. Every week there are events from dinners to food tours hosted by local people in Brussels. If you are interested at all in attending or hosting an event feel free to email me or just check out the site!

Hi Mikenzie,
Glad you like the blog. Funnily enough I’d hear of bookalokal and we’d already booked a Malaysian meal for July 2nd. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Simon,
I am a researcher with Renegade83 Productions and our show ’10 Things’ needs footage of the ‘Dinner in the Sky’ dining experience and I like the video on your Flickr channel and am referring to:
Dinner in the Sky
We’re doing an episode where we mention unique restaurants and needs some footage as visual context. We license footage non-exclusive single episode use with standard TV rights; that is, world wide, all media, in perpetuity. The rate is $500 USD and we will only need 30 seconds or less.
Would you please confirm whether Voyage TV recorded or controls the rights to this footage? If so and possible to license, I will forward your contact info to our clearance manager for him to follow up directly with you as we are working on a deadline.
Kind regards,
David Lizama
