One day i was walking down Russel’s Square in London and for some reason i a looked up to see the sign of ” BirkbeckUniversity for Life long learning“, so i went in and checked what they have to offer as night courses, one of the courses that caught my attention was ” Introduction to Screenwriting” .
i enrolled in that course and now i am nearly done with it, as part of this course i have to write a 10 minute Script so i started ” the Undertaker of Baghdad”, it was written just to experiment with the techniques and the tools i learnt in the course. i am planning to rewrite it in Arabic and\or in English from a different angle later on.
anyway the pourpose of this page is simply to share my scripts- blogging culture if you must to label it -. The Scripts here are open source 🙂 , so if anyone would like to play with it then be my guest. also if you do have any feedback then do not be shy.

في إحدي أمسيات يوليو الماضي كنت أتمشي في شوارع لندن ، لمحت شعار جامعة بركبك للتعليم المستمر، أخذني الفضول فدخلت للمبني و سألت عن الدورات المسائية في الجامعة . فوجدت أن هناك العديد من الدورات المثيرة للإهتمام و منها “مقدمة في الكتابة السينمائية” . طبعا ببساطة سجلت إسمي
الأن الدورة قاربت من الإنتهاء و كجزء منها كان يجب كتابة سيناريو لفلم قصير (10 دقائق) فكتبت “حانوتي بغداد” كتجربة للكتابة السينمائية ، النص بسيط و يكاد أن يكون خالي تمام لكنه مجرد هيكل عظمي لمشروع أخر أتمني أن يكون بالعربية
علي أي حال، الهدف من هذه الصفحة هو مشاركة أكبر عدد ممكن بهذا النص و نصوص مستقبلية أخري .هذه النصوص مفتوحة المصدر فإن شاء أحد ان يلعب بها ف”هلا يوبا !!” كما أن التعليق مفتوح للجميع
