She sent me this wonderful fun bit of soup:

This first one has 3 items I worked on using beads given. First is a Fold Formed bracelet that I added the peach/coral beads and light green to complete it... using my daughter's hand as a model.. she loves trying on all the jewelry.  The second is a wire worked piece and I used the balled end head pins she sent and the gorgeous green beads to wrap around the center. The third is an enameled piece I made that the veined black and white stones she sent ( not sure what they were) went perfect with. My daughter was so grateful I let her model because she took the necklace. *rolls eyes* 

This next one is made using the large pink beads she sent me. Sandra knew from our chat that I did not do pink since I have red hair and it clashes so I cannot ever seem to make things work with it. So pink she sent.... I took a piece of copper and used a rolling mill to corrugate it into the rippled strip. It has vintage lace and some seam binding that I hand dyed lightly. I have a thing for curly copper and used it as a connector in multiple pieces in multiple ways. Her clasp is used in the upper right picture. 

This third one is another enameled piece using the beads Sandra sent me  and I even did some different wraps to experiment. The blacks and almost transparent green beads she sent set the teal of the enamel off beautifully. 

This last one is actually the one where I used the focal Sandra sent me. It took me a while to decide what to do with this. It was not until the last week that I figured it out. I stared and stared at it and just couldn't see anything. Then I was having one of those rough weeks, you know the one where Murphy is dogging your heels and if it can go wrong it does. 

Fencing tourney's, Prom, ACT, SAT, Licensure exam, new grandbaby coming, 12 year old's first official dance, Dress shopping, no car, 60 baby shower invitations handmade with punchart from 900 miles away, all while cold turkey quitting soda, busting butt at the gym to get healthy so that I do not get another cancer scare like I did the week before I moved to Ohio 6 months ago. I was sick with whatever flu is floating around and then end up allergic to something that grows here and broke out in hives. I don't have any friends here, there are no bead, craft or whatnot stores to go to. I lost my dream job when I moved here and now I do not know who I am supposed to be or what I am supposed to do. So I felt lost among a million rain drops.. Hence the name of my piece "Lost in the Rain" 

She soldered geometric circles, squiggles and a 3D triangle. I thought it needed some bling so I added the vintage rhinestone from an old piece I had to the center of the ring she soldered to the bottom. I used the tear drop green stones and wrapped them into dangles and the curly is more geometric connecting that just fit. It is my tornado.
